The Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois invites you to participate in an upcoming Levee Issues Alliance (LIA) Team Meeting.

The Leadership Council has long worked alongside the Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention District Council, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, local governments and regional partners to monitor issues impacting the Metro East levee system. With the 100-year level of flood protection complete and fully accredited, our continued focus is on monitoring progress toward the 500-year level of protection and identifying any regulatory, funding or infrastructure issues that could impact our communities and future economic development.

This meeting will provide an opportunity to receive updates on current levee projects, discuss emerging issues and ensure our regional partners remain informed and coordinated.
