The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) supports Scott Air Force Base and the broader Department of Defense presence in Southwestern Illinois by strengthening regional support, advocacy, and strategic collaboration. Since its founding in 1984, the MAC has worked with military leaders, elected officials, business and civic partners, and surrounding communities to advance mission needs, enhance economic impact, and cultivate mutual understanding.
